ABB Robot Programming
Rotosis programs ABB industrial robots in RAPID: new cell programs, improvements to existing programs, PLC communication and commissioning. We are based in Konya and work across Turkey; every program is written around your product and cell layout and tested on site.

What ABB robot programming covers
New cell program
A RAPID program for a welding, palletizing or handling cell, built around your product and cycle time target.
Changes to existing programs
Adapting the current program for a new product, a new pallet pattern or better robot paths.
PLC and line communication
Making the robot work together with the PLC, conveyors, grippers and safety equipment.
Commissioning
On-site testing, tuning, operator training and technical support after handover.
Applications we program
- Robotic welding, together with the torch, positioner and welding power source
- Palletizing of bags, cartons, ingots and similar products (example: aluminium ingot palletizing)
- Material handling, machine loading and unloading
- Line-specific solutions: special purpose machines
How a programming job runs
- 1. Needs analysis
Product, task, capacity, controller type and the current layout.
- 2. Program design
Robot paths, pallet or weld patterns, I/O signals and safety logic are defined.
- 3. Writing and testing
The RAPID program is written, tested on site at low speed, then tuned to the cycle time target.
- 4. Commissioning and support
Operator training, a program backup and after-sales technical support.
What we need for a quote
- Robot model and controller type (IRC5 or OmniCore); if there is no robot yet, the task itself
- What the robot will do (welding, palletizing, handling, etc.)
- Product size and weight
- Required cycle time or hourly output
- Existing line, PLC details and available floor space (photos or a layout are enough)
For all our ABB services, see ABB robot integration; for maintenance, ABB robot maintenance; for model details, ABB IRB 660. If you run KUKA robots, see KUKA robot integration. To start with a smaller investment, look at our used robots (2-year warranty: parts and labor in the first year, labor only in the second).
Frequently asked questions
What language are ABB robots programmed in?
ABB robots are programmed in RAPID. We write the program around your product, cell layout and cycle time target, then test and commission it on site.
What does an ABB programming job include?
Writing the program for a new cell, editing and improving existing programs, adapting programs for a new product or pallet pattern, setting up communication with the PLC and commissioning.
Can you modify the program on my existing ABB robot?
Yes. We back up the robot's current program and settings first, then make the changes you need, such as a new product, a new pallet pattern or a shorter cycle time.
Can the robot connect to my existing PLC and line?
Yes. We plan the robot's communication with the PLC, conveyors and other equipment around your existing line. Photos or a layout of the line and PLC details are enough to start.
Which ABB controllers do you work with?
We work with ABB robots on IRC5 and OmniCore controllers. Send us the controller type and robot model and we can define the scope.
Is programming done at your workshop or on site?
It depends on the scope. Programs are always tested and commissioned on site; if we are building the cell from scratch, programming is part of the installation. We agree on the details during the needs analysis.
Do you train operators?
Yes. We provide training and technical support during and after commissioning. The scope of training is stated in the quote.
How do I get a quote for ABB robot programming?
Send us the task, product size and weight, the cycle time you need and the controller type via the quote form or call +90 332 265 39 50. Pricing depends on the scope and is given as a written quote.
Get a quote for ABB robot programming
Tell us about the task, your product and the output you need, and we will come back with a proposal. Pricing depends on the scope and is given as a written quote.
